Homemade lye soap bricks that are made from reclaimed lard. This soap has a beautiful, old fashioned tan hue and comes with a long list of wonderful uses. Whether you use it for laundry, bath soap, dish washing or as a grease cutter, you should always keep a few bars in your stow. Some even use it to remedy poison ivy! Bricks weigh at about 6 ounces. These bricks are handmade using traditional methods to maximize the historical authenticity of each piece. Lye soap was used by many people in the 18th and 19th centuries. Includes a cotton carry bag with draw strings.
